Cherry...luxury fruit.

While doing marketing last Sun, I found out the price of cherry has dropped from RM6/100gm last two week to RM4/100gm now. So I think it's worth to buy some as I missed it so much. If not mistaken, the cherry's price has gone up RM2/100gm ever since my last purchase last year. Not sure why it was so expensive as compared to other imported fruits like Australia grape (RM15/kg) or China rockmelon (RM6/kg). Maybe the supply is limited.

This plate of cherry cost me RM8.

Jay, perhaps you may want to share the selling price over there?

the cherry here is about AUD9+/kg to AUD15+/kg depends on the season.
We went for cherry picking Nov last year and it was about AUD12/kg. This is consider not too expensive as you can just eat as many as you can while you are picking it... they only weight for the cherry that you give them in the bag! Perhaps they have included those cherry that you have eaten before hand.

We almost ate as much as we brought back (or even more... so full!). So, i think AUD12 is pretty reasonable.
