Tuan Yuan Fan

For the past 30 over years, (wah... sounds so old liaw), my family used to have lunch at home as our "tuan yuan fan". Even after we get married, our tuan yuan fan time and venue will be the same without changes except for adding more and more copstick.

This year, my mum has requested to have our tuan yuan fan at the restaurant instead of home cooking. Poor mum, she pays for the bill yet need to get our premission first. Perhaps she felt very tired to handle lunch for more and more headcounts. Of course we fully support her as we have more time to gather for chit chating without any kiosk running here and there to prepare food and arrange utensils.

So finally we went to a restaurant called "Cha Wong Zi Ka" (can be translated into The Tea King's House) which recommended by our "shek ka", my brother. The restaurant is located at a double story shop lot and we were placed at their second floor open area. Basically that floor is meant for us as no other customer occupying on that day.

I would said the dishes served that day was fantastic as their cooking method is different from normal restaurant. And this is the first time I tried "geoduck". I find it so so and nothing to shout about.

See the no of children in our family could fill up a round table soon.

Our PC is Sick

Hubby noticed our PC was functioning unusual before CNY. Whenever we browse our photo files, it will hang for some times and getting worst when it started to restart automatically. Since CNY was around corner, we just leave as it is. Therefore I can't do blogging like those day. We decided to wait until the celebration over only send for reformatting. We didn't send our PC to computer service shop but to his ex-colleague who is really really helpful to solve our problem. We took the opportunity to send the hard disk over his place during our CNY visiting. I think we owe him a lot as from day one we bought this PC, he had been helping us to install necessary software to our new PC and on off hubby will seek his expertise on computer. A big thanks to him.

Bad Experience

When I was young (8 or 9 years old) I used to cry half way during my afternoon nap. My father will carry me on his lap and try to make me awake. As he thought I was having nightmare and not fully awake. I will tell him all nonsense thing like "the tyre is getting bigger and bigger", "the roller is rolling bigger and bigger", "the wall is expanding, can you see?" For the first time, my family thought I was being incantation....... But later on he found that it might due to my afternoon nap (weather during those day usually warm and hot, sweating in the sleep) that had caused me bad dreams, bad imagination and bad cry. From that moment onwards, I try not to nap in the afternoon unless I'm really tired.

I'm BACK....

After a long rest, I felt a bit lazy to sit in front of the computer and typing. A lot of things appeared in my mind and I don't know where to start as all of them need to be back dated. I just wish that there is a machine/copier which could copy what I'm thinking and transform into essay and blog automatically..... am I crazy? Ha ha I think the holidays are too long for me.

During the Christmas holidays, we went for shopping as usual. Bought CNY clothes for all of us. Luckily managed to do some housekeeping as CNY is around the corner. And I'm proud to let you know that I even did some cookie baking in one of those day. Not bad ar......

Sister In Law Wedding - 291108

We stayed over night at my MIL house as my SIL wedding was too early in the next morning. Groom must arrives bride's house around 7am. Phewww......

I woke up around 6am that morning. Ya, a bit late, initially plan to wake up 5.30pm but due to Shannen coughing the whole night, I got no enough sleep. As all the relatives not coming yet, so only myself and MIL busy preparing foods. Luckily it was just a simple preparation as all the foods are ready made except for morning tea.

Sharp at 7.15am, groom and his brother arrived. Those neighbours who are still in their sweet dream maybe awake by the "loud horn"..... no choice.

Those "chi mui" are well experienced in torturing groom. This is the first time I came across chi mui that are so health conscious. They came up with few yoga posture (picture print out) for the groom and brother to do it on the spot. It's so fun and greats.

See, the groom is trying hard to band here and there as this posture was requested by the bride to be carried out by he groom, no one can help.....

I'm pretty tight up since last few weeks. Sister in law marriages end of Nov, right after that we went for family trip (one week), just came back last week. This week pulak going to Alor Star for another wedding dinner (organize by the groom side) for my sister in law. Hope to be back soon......to update some new post, new photos, new feelings.......

Lye's Family Photo

This is our first family photo ever since Shannen joined as member. We took this during my colleague's wedding last few weeks. Thanks to the photographer, Devaki.

During the high tea, Audrey got the chance to meet her friend, Lisa. Lisa is my colleague's daughter. We always share story about them, it was a lot of fun as both of them could create funny topics for the mums to share with. Of course sometimes we will also exchange our thoughts of teaching and coaching our gals.


We even named them as " penyamun " group. Don't ask me why....longggggggg story. I really hope their relationship will last long as we have limited Malay friend. But it's quite funny when you watch both of them talking. Audrey doesn't know or understand much about Malay language. Lisa speaks Malay more than English. So you can imagine the situation having one chic talking to one duck on their own language. However they can still mix around to be friend. Amazing!
